The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.
SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the substantial range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office sassa status to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
